The issues I faced were quite disturbing as it caused me to fail my exams, disrupt my peace and it also distanced me from my family and close ones. Maneesha Mam helped me navigate through everything and made sharing everything easier for me. First relief that I felt with her was that she provided me a safe and judgement-free environment to say everything out loud (I was very shy and hesitant to share anything with anyone as my problems included relationship stuff.) She gave me full control over my thoughts and she taught me how to cherry pick positivity from my environment. She was never overpowering, instead she made me feel powerful that everything is under control and that I can get well again however disturbing the issue was. Over time, she taught me exercises that really helped me sleep better, she taught me breathing techniques that distracted me from raging anxiety.
The most helpful thing she taught me was to realise how important it is to feel that I'M WORTHY AND THAT I'M MY OWN PERSON.
Over time, roughly across a period of 2 months, she helped me to put conscious efforts towards understanding the importance of my Present tense and also to never feel guilty for having fun.
I had my fourth semester exams this month and it all went great. These exams didn't feel like they were a load to me, instead, I'm looking forward to knowing my score very positively. My experience with Maneesha Mam has been great and very very helpful.
